Camiguin Island Activities

Camiguin is one of the small island in the Philippines located in the northern coast of Mindanao, it’s a pear-shaped volcano laying in the Bohol about 10 kilometers north of Misamis Oriental sea. Camiguin Island is about 300 sq. kms. With its cool climate that is attributed to vegetation and natural springs. Average daytime temperature is 26°C. December, January and February is the coldest months. Rainfall will occur during June to December.

Camiguin Island consists of many flowing mineral pools of Ardent Hot Springs. The heated water is coming down from the vents of Hibok-Hibok Volcano, it is known as the only active one among the seven on the island. Other activities you can enjoy in Ardent Hot Springs are Picnic beneath the sheltering trees, Enjoy a game of darts and, table tennis.

Camsur Watersports Complex Wakeboarding Philippines

Wakeboarding Philippines is very famous in the world with its nice and brilliant Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) the world’s best place for wakeboarding in the world. 700 meters long, it is a long lake with plenty of room to execute any air or obstacle trick, a smooth water along side with a island built in the middle of the lake.

Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) is located at east of Manila outside Naga City Friendly people and many great places you can go through besides (CWC). There is a waterfalls, ride a helicopters over Mayon Volcano, and even spend time for whale watching.

The Philippine Eagle

Philippines are known with its unique wildlife that is very wonderful to see. One of the famous wildlife animals that can be found in the Philippines is the Philippine Eagle. Philippine Eagle is on of the largest, rarest, and to be considered as the most powerful birds in the world. This bird is listed as one of the many endangered vertebrate species in the world. The Philippine Eagle can be seen in the few places in Luzon, Samar, leyte and Mindanao.

Due to the birds is listed as one of the many endangered vertebrate species in the world. Many people are alarm and find a way to conserve these magnificent species, The Philippine Eagle Foundation is being built. A private, non-profit organization dedicated to conserve the Philippine Eagles and preserving their habitat. It is a reflection of the foundation’s hard work that captive breeding experiments have been successfully conducted in their Philippine Eagle Center for many years now.

Philippine Eagle’s life span is at least 41 years of longevity, it is still unknown what will be the lifespan of the eagles in the wild, but base on the fact wild Philippine eagle birds face many exigencies of the forest environment rather than an eagle which is kept captive. Wild eagles will have shorter life span than the captive eagles.

Philippine Airsoft Activities

Airsoft is a new sport here in the Philippines where many teenagers; man or woman play. Airsoft is just similar to paintball a combat sport which all the participants hit there opponent by a (6 mm or 8mm) plastic BBs (small, spherical balls) to eliminate them from the game. To join in t his game you need obviously a airsoft gun, mask/goggles, clothing, and Tactical gear.

Airsoft Gun

Airsoft guns are just replicas of real firearms, but the mechanism of a real gun and an airsoft gun is different, airsoft gun just pushing out 6-mm or 8-mm plastic balls diameter projectiles.

Mask/Goggles

Mask/Goggles is definitely important if you are playing Airsoft Gun, It is needed so that your eye will be protected.

Clothing

Most players typically wear military battle-dress uniforms known as BDUs consisting of separate pants and shirts or jackets when playing, because it – just as with real soldiers – aids concealment from adversaries. Some players will go as far as to use a ghillie suit, which breaks up the human outline by having sticks, leafs, and items like that in the fabric/netting.

Biliran Island Activities

Biliran is one of the smallest provinces in the Philippines and it is located in the Eastern Visayas region. An island province, Biliran lies just a few kilometers north of the island of Leyte. Its capital is Naval and for a time, Biliran was part of the province of Leyte until it became independent in 1992.

My friends visited Biliran, it is one of the smallest provinces in the Philippines it is situated in the Eastern Visayas region. There are great places Biliran can offer, for me it is one of the many places in Philippines that you will have great and fun time spending with your friends, family, and to your girlfriend or boyfriend.

The 555.42-square-kilometer island-province teems with beautiful white-sand beaches and its natural coves offer untold adventures to the daring traveler.

Getting there is easy just ride a boat going to Leyte upon arriving to Leyte ask the locals in Leyte (which are very friendly people) to help you on going to Biliran island.

Cagayan de Oro White Water Rafting

Cagayan de Oro is one of the places in the Philippines that many people love to visit, with its reach culture and friendly local people, great food and accommodation. But what makes it famous? It’s actually the white water rafting in the mighty and beautiful Cagayan de Oro River that every visitor wants to try. The stretch from Barangay Dansolihon to the city provides many nice sightings of panoramic view of the river rocky walls, the preserve and never been touched vegetation and resting haven of monkeys.

You’ll sure to have lots of activities and adventure in the city but nothing can beat the rush feeling and heart beating white river rafting. What make it thrilling are the exciting rapids with intervals not less than 10 – 15 minutes of each other. Expect breathtaking fun and adventures as you paddle your way through numerous rapids of the river that separates Cagayan de Oro from bountiful province of Bukidnon.

Siargao Island Adventure and Activities

As a traveler or a tourist, what I want for a vacation is a nice and relaxing place, good accommodation, less cost hotel rate and other stuff, and the important thing is to have fun and adventurous activities. Siargao Island for what I’ve heard is a perfect destination for adventures; like snorkeling, swimming, relaxing in the beach, island hopping, and specially surfing. Siargao Island is known as the surfing capital in the Philippines. With its perfect cloud 9 and huge wave, surfers around the world are dying and love to go there to surf and to enjoy.

One of the famous places in Siargao aside from the big waves is the 27-mile long white sugar-fine sand strip of Gen. Luna, Siargao Island. Other places like Basul Island and Beach in Brgy. San Jose also have a nice cream collared coarse powdery sand. Danawan Island is rich with colourful seashells with coral bits.

There’s one place in Siargao that is so unique, it is the municipality of Pilar. Its beach is situated in a cove facing the Pacific, Limestone and granite sculptures surrounded the island. It is ideal to must go to Pilar when it is low tide, limestone floors reveal pools of assorted shapes and sizes.

If we talking about foods in Siargao island there’s nothing to worry about, Siargao Island is one of the sources in the Philippines for Marlins, groupers, tuna, crabs, squids, rays and octopuses and can be bought in a cheap prize in the near market. One of the activities that locals and also foreigners do is game-fishing and spear-fishing, they have a game-fishing competitions to be held evry August.

To all people who never been to Siagrao Island try to visit this place, it is one of the many must-see places here in the Philippines. With very cheap prizes that would really suite your budget plus you will have a good time surfing, snorkelling, relaxing, go island hopping, and spear-fishing.

Malapascua Island Diving Adventures

Malapascua is actually a diver’s paradise. Later a tourist diver discovered the sunken Island “Monad Shoal” where you can watch Thresher Sharks, the only place in the world to watch Tresher Sharks! Today, the majority of the resorts offer full-service dive facilities. In fact more than half of the visitors to the island are divers and dive aficionados.

Getting to Malapascua Island is a 4/5hrs. Bus trip from Cebu North Bus Terminal; Passing from the northern part of Cebu, places like Maya, Daanbantayan, and the northernmost point of Cebu Mainland. Upon the arrival in Maya wharf, you can find a lot of boats which will take you to the island approximately 30minutes or so, depending on the weather. But the trip back to the mainland usually stops at 3:00/4:00 in the afternoon. Rent a boat by a so called special trip that costs you about 600-800 Php!!

is a perfect getaway for beach relaxation and scuba diving. The accommodation, the local people in Malapascua are very friendly, the way they treated the tourist are world class. Bars and resorts in Malapascua are world class with lots of Italian, Korean, Filipino, and Japanese food cuisines are so very delicious. The Island of is one of the many places in Daanbantayan that is famous for swimming — snorkeling — diving – fishing – sailing – boating — exploring – and just relaxing.

Malapascua island in the north, they have nice white beaches there too that are world famous but not so expensive… I highly recommend Water Resort in Malapascua!

Mt. Kanlaon and Mt. Makawiwili Mountaineering Adventures

Kanlaon Volcano, or Mount Kanlaon (also spelled Canlaon), is a stratovolcano on Negros Philippines. It is located between Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental provinces of the Philippines, approximately 36 km southeast of Bacolod City.

In ancient times, native priests (babaylan) would climb up the mountain and do some rituals when they will have a good harvest in the season or when they will have a special ceremony. They offer gifts as a sign of respect, for giving thanks for there safety and other stuff they want. Canlaon City now stands beside the mountain.

Kanlaon has an elevation of 2,435 meters and a base diameter of 30 km and is known with pyroclastic cones and craters that are so magnificent to look at. The summit of Kanlaon contains a broad elongated northern caldera with a crater lake that is so big, and a lot of wild berries you can find. A smaller but more active crater lies in the south; it is so dangerous that they don’t allow any person to enter.

Mt. Makawiwili ridge is a towering 8000 feet high peak that is situated between two mountain peaks among the many ranges of Mt. Kanlaon. It takes 4 hrs. to reach Mt. Makawiwili from the foot of Mt. Kanlaon, and It can be reach in approximately 9.5 kilometers from the foot of Mt. Kanlaon and 167.5 kilometers from the provincial capital of Dumaguete City.

Mt. Makawiwili is also called the “saddle in the sky”, an appropriate moniker because of its similarity to the object, and a breath taking view when you reach the peak of Mt. Makawiwili. It is an elevated platform that many climbing enthusiasts and sightseers consider as a perfect vantage point for monitoring the volcanic activities of Mt. Kanlaon, for observing the many life forms in the area specially the preserve thick forest, large trees, and for appreciating all of Mt. Kanlaon’s phenomenal views. Because of its 8000 feet high it is ideal for setting up radio communication satellites, and with its wide space most mountaineers will spend a quick rest or spent the whole night camping.
